Denzel Paulsen (born 1 January 1995) is a South African rapper, singer, and songwriter who has become a powerful voice in the Cape Town music scene. Originally gaining recognition in his hometown of Atlantis through viral social media clips, Denzel has transitioned from a local talent to a national contender, known for his emotive storytelling and sharp lyrical delivery.

Professional Career and GMF Records

In March 2020, Denzel partnered with friend and manager Chad Scott to form GMF Records. This partnership sparked a period of rapid growth, beginning with his debut single, "Ghetto Dreams."

March 2021: Released the 9-track EP You Saw, I Said, featuring collaborations with various Cape Town artists.

Late 2021: Won a competition with Marshall Media Production, leading to the 7-track EP Trust Fund Baby.

2022: A milestone year that saw Denzel win the prestigious Sportscene x Puma "Put Me On" competition. After beating out hundreds of artists to reach the Top 10 in Johannesburg, he took
